Hello friends and welcome to my creative space!
Congrats on finding this small corner of the internet — a place where my vision of collecting all that creative chaos comes to life.
I’m Teo — a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and writer from Germany. Drawing has always been intertwined with who I am — I held pens and pencils before I would even speak, and it’s still my favorite form of expression.
The main influences on my work are the ever-surprising, rich forms of nature, as well as my own inner landscape. You’ll find many realistic drawings in my gallery, alongside digital illustrations, sculptures, and acrylic paintings. Some of them are exhibited from time to time. As I’m finally working on my (graphic) novel, there’s much more to come — and I couldn’t be more excited!
While finishing my architecture studies around 2023, I became deeply inspired to explore design through my unique artistic lens. After those enlightening, draining, adventurous, rollercoaster years at university, I knew my path had to first lead me back to where I came from: Free Art and Philosophy.✮⋆˙
And I’ve never regretted the decision to take time off and work on personal projects — it’s been the best. I drew again, I wrote, I made plans, I found inspiration, and I collected it all in a yearbook. I’m still learning.
And architecture? I now know that having a master’s degree isn’t a contract to profess, but there’s still a huge place in my heart for the built environment — and for the art of creating living spaces where humans can truly thrive. I now design in the same way I write: I let ideas form structures almost by themselves over time — collecting and sorting what drifts by, fueled by museums, books, and travel. Exploring.
What I care about in architecture (and in my art) is the impact environments have on our mood, health, and even productivity. Colors, shapes, sizes, proportions, light… Making my own art helps immensely with refining a way of designing for the mind and soul.
I see purpose in slow architecture — work created with joy and care, not forced by demand, crooked by expectations, rushed by deadlines and killed by budgets. I guess I’ll stick to fantasy projects, then — and I love it.
After diving deep into both worlds, I now combine traditional and digital art, extracting the best from each. Pencil drawing and mixed-media painting allow my creativity to flow directly from mind to paper in a way a screen never will. On the other hand, I don’t want to miss out on the advantages of 2D and 3D software, which open up a whole new category of possibilities. I find my balance by using each medium in its right context — as an instrument toward my vision.
While I understand the use of AI-generated images in some contexts, I personally don’t use them in my designs and remain critical of the practice.
Currently, I’m mostly writing my novel, creating digital illustrations, sculptures, and 3D worlds, while also deepening my IT knowledge through self-study. I love reading, traveling, animals, nature, sci-fi movies, and doing sports.
Get to know my work in my gallery and on social media! I appreciate your support. ♡
